Snap Gains After Amazon Partnership for In-App Shopping

Snap Inc. is the latest social media platform to partner with Amazon.com Inc. to allow users to buy from the e-commerce giant without leaving its app.

Snap shares climbed 7.4% to $12.14, the most in a month, as of 2:50 p.m. in New York.

US customers will see real-time pricing, Prime eligibility and delivery estimates on some of the Amazon product ads in Snapchat for the first time Amazon spokesperson Nicole Pampe confirmed. Snapchat users will be asked whether they want to link their profiles to their Amazon accounts for the full experience.
