SK Telecom Reports Suspected User USIM Data Leak in Cyberattack

South Korea’s largest mobile carrier SK Telecom reports a suspected case of some clients’ USIM data leakage due to malicious code by a hacker, according to an emailed statement.

  • SK Telecom deleted the malicious code after identifying the breach
  • No cases of misuse of client data have been reported so far
