Sinclair Warns of Dish TV Channel Blackouts Due to Impasse (1)

Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. said TV broadcasts from as many as 112 of its stations may be pulled from customers of Dish Network Corp., the result of a fee dispute between the companies.

If the companies don’t strike a deal, local channels including ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, along with the Tennis Channel will be dropped for millions of Dish subscribers starting Aug. 16, Sinclair said Monday in a statement. The broadcaster said it’s unlikely an agreement will be reached before the deadline.

Dish declined to comment.
