CBS Corp.-owned Showtime’s over-the-top streaming service, first announced last year, has gone live with a free promotional offer.
The $10.99 per month service, offered free for 30 days, is available on Apple Inc. iPhones and iPads; Apple TV and Roku streaming devices, as a channel on the Hulu streaming service; and via Sony Corp.’s PlayStation Vue gaming-console-only streaming service. A Showtime subscription via Hulu will be available at a discounted price of $7.99 per month.
The Showtime streaming service includes access to back episodes from the content provider’s catalog of shows, current movie lineup and some live programming.
