A certified class of shoppers who used Safeway.com’s delivery service has been granted judgment in its suit alleging the grocer committed a breach of contract by charging higher prices for groceries through the service than it charged in the stores where the groceries were selected (Rodman v. Safeway Inc., N.D. Cal., 3:11-cv-03003-JSW, 12/10/14).
