Reddit Defeats Lawsuit Alleging It Enabled Child Pornography

Reddit Inc. will escape a lawsuit alleging it provides a “safe haven” for child pornography and fails to take adequate steps to block users from posting illicit material, although the plaintiffs will have the chance to try to revive most of their claims, a federal court in California said Thursday.

The anonymous plaintiffs are minors or the guardians of minors who had sexually explicit images or video of them uploaded to Reddit.
