Recompete of Leidos’s $2.5 Billion Antarctic Work Starts Early

More than 50 companies have expressed early interest in the recompete for the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Support Contract, currently held by Leidos Holdings Inc. and expected to be worth as much as $2.5 billion by the time it expires in March 2025.

NSF is getting a three-year head start on the recompete both because the requirement is complex and because the agency wants industry feedback to an alternative procurement model before issuing a final proposal.
