Partners to Sell Data-Center Platform atNorth in $4 Billion Deal

Partners Group Holding AG has agreed to sell its Nordic data-center platform atNorth to Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and digital infrastructure provider Equinix for $4 billion, including debt.

The Swiss private markets firm said in a statement Friday that the data center operator continues to have substantial expansion potential and that it will reinvest and take as much as a 10% stake in atNorth alongside the new owners.

CPP Investments will own 60% controlling interest with $1.6 billion investment, while Equinix will hold the remaining 40% stake.
