Paramount-WBD Foreign Stake Needs CFIUS Review, Democrats Urge

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the US must “conduct a full review of any national security risks posed by foreign ownership of Paramount’s proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery,” a group of Democratic lawmakers urge in a letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, according to a statement from Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s office.
