Palantir, Raytheon Both Win Next-Stage Software Prototype Spots

Palantir Technologies and Raytheon moved ahead together in the competition to develop prototypes for the Pentagon’s effort to unite information sharing across the agency.

The Army awarded each company $36 million for the next stage of the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node, a program meant to address the Army’s gap in service-wide situational awareness by accessing space, air, and ground sensors simultaneously. Both companies were previously awarded one-year, $8.5 million contracts for the earlier design and demonstration stage.
