Pakistan to Hold Telecom Spectrum Auction in End-Jan/Early Feb

Pakistan plans to hold a phone airwave auction at the end of January or in early February as the South Asian nation seeks to introduce high-speed 5G telecom services, according to Information Technology Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

• The Economic Coordination Committee has approved the details of the proposed auction, which will need to be approved by the cabinet, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said at a joint news conference Tuesday
