Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz is advising OpenAI on its latest fundraising round ahead of the artificial intelligence giant’s potential IPO later this year.
The Manhattan-founded firm—and longtime outside counsel to ChatGPT developer—helped OpenAI raise $122 billion from investors in its latest fundraising round announced on Tuesday, according to a source familiar with the matter. The deal is the largest funding round to date and values the AI developer at $852 billion.
