New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is endorsing one of President Donald Trump’s policy decisions, despite being in the midst of a reelection campaign where she seeks to capitalize on voter discontent with the White House.
The Democratic governor, who has clashed with the administration on issues ranging from congestion pricing in New York City to immigration enforcement, has found common ground with Trump on boosting US manufacturing jobs, especially in places outside of urban areas.
