The National Telecommunications & Information Administration has updated its interactive national broadband map, reporting that it now has information from more than 1,730 broadband suppliers. That’s up from 1,650 providers in the first update of map released in February.
According to the agency, the added companies are “small providers, including rural companies in places as varied as Alaska and Massachusetts, that may not be household names. Including them in the map will help ensure that consumers shopping for broadband service are aware of all their options.”
