Northrop Grumman Challenges Blue Origin for Lunar Lander Award

Northrop Grumman is going head to head with its former teammate, Blue Origin, for a chance at a lucrative $10 billion NASA lunar lander contract.

Northrop Grumman is collaborating with Leidos subsidiary Dynetics to design a human landing system that will deliver astronauts to the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program.

Northrop initially teamed with Blue Origin on what the Jeff Bezos-led company called the “National Team,” including Draper Inc. and Lockheed Martin Corp.
