The New Mexico attorney general’s lawsuit accusing
US District Judge Margaret Strickland on Monday granted the state’s motion to remand the case to a court in Santa Fe County, where attorney general Raúl Torrez originally filed the sweeping lawsuit in December.
The complaint alleged that Facebook and Instagram are a “breeding ground” for predators who target children for sex trafficking, and that the platforms allow users to trade “enormous volumes” of child sexual abuse material.
