Netflix Executives Confident They’ll Win Warner Bros. Fight

Netflix Inc. executives looked to reassure investors that they’ll be the ultimate owners of Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. after Paramount Skydance Corp. launched a competing, hostile offer for the iconic entertainment company.

Co-Chief Executive Officers Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters told investors at the UBS conference in New York on Monday that they’re “extremely confident” that their deal with Warner Bros. will be approved.

The pair said the Paramount offer was “entirely expected” but that Netflix would win over regulators. They also reiterated Netflix’s plans to keep releasing Warner Bros. films in theaters.
