A slight majority of residential high-speed Internet subscribers remain unable to identify the maximum data rates of the service tier to which they subscribe, according to new consumer research by Bloomberg BNA.
In an online survey conducted earlier this month with the help of Florida-based Amplitude Research, we found that 54 percent of respondents said they did not know the maximum downstream speed available on their home Internet service subscription.
This is down just slightly from the 56 percent of respondents who gave this answer in a similar survey we conducted last year.
