Microsoft Agrees to Contempt Ruling To Speed Ireland E-Mail Case Appeal

In order to expedite an appeal, Microsoft Corp., at its own request, Sept. 8 was held by a federal district court to be in contempt of a previous order to comply with a U.S. government search warrant for e-mails stored in a data center in Ireland (In re Microsoft Corp.).
