European Union antitrust regulators are not able to confirm whether Meta’s limited changes to its pay-or-consent model are enough to comply with an EU antitrust order, Reuters reports, citing a statement from the European Commission.

  • Commission is mulling next steps, including “periodic penalty payments” running as of June 27, a spokesperson said in a statement to Reuters
    • Daily fines can be as much as 5% of a company’s average daily worldwide turnover
