Meta Attracts 200 Million Businesses to WhatsApp Messaging Tools

Meta Platforms Inc. has quadrupled the number of companies using its WhatsApp business tools in the past three years, making headway in a push to generate more money from the popular messaging service.

The WhatsApp Business app now has more than 200 million customers, up from 50 million in the middle of 2020, Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg said in a post. The company also announced additional features for the service, which lets businesses message customers using the platform.
