A software developer lost his bid for a share of a $65 million settlement between Facebook Inc. and one of its early competitors, ConnectU, founded by brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
The Massachusetts Appeals Court April 24 dismissed Wayne Chang’s complaint, ruling that “the business relationship between Chang and the Winklevoss defendants ended long before the commencement of the settlement negotiations between the Winklevoss brothers and Facebook.”
Chang led the i2hub Organization, Inc., a Massachusetts company which operated a peer-to-peer file-sharing “platform,” that opened in March 2004 and established a business relationship with ConnectU that November.
