Labor Board Official Hits Apple Over Nondisclosure Policies (1)

A federal labor board official issued a complaint against Apple Inc., accusing the iPhone maker of requiring employees to abide by overzealous non-disclosure, social media, and non-compete policies.

The complaint, made public late Monday, advanced an effort by National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo to crack down on labor law violators in big tech. If it prevails, the complaint could require Apple to loosen oversight of thousands of workers across the US, giving unions a better shot at organizing within the tech giant.
