Japan Comms Ministry Warns Fuji Media, Fuji TV Over Scandal

Japan’s communications ministry asks Fuji Media Holdings and unit Fuji Television to report measures it’s taking to address a monthslong harassment scandal.

• Critiques companies’ failure to regard issue as a compliance or management problem
• Asks both companies to take strict measures to prevent reoccurence and report them to the ministry by end-April
  • Also requests a status report within 3 months
