IBM CEO Sees More AI Deals in ‘Friendlier’ Regulatory Climate

International Business Machines Corp. Chief Executive Officer Arvind Krishna expects the company to pursue more deals in AI, helped by less regulatory pushback.

IBM just completed its acquisition of Confluent Inc., less than four months after it was announced, Krishna said Tuesday during an interview on Bloomberg Television’s Open Interest.

“The regulatory environment is definitely friendlier,” he said. “It used to take a lot longer a few years back.”
