House Republican Moves to Restore Net Neutrality (1)

Colorado Rep. Mike Coffman became the first House Republican to support forcing a House vote on restoring Obama-era net neutrality rules.

Coffman, in a July 17 statement, said he signed a petition to bring a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution—which would overturn the Federal Communications Commission’s December rollback of net neutrality—to a floor vote. He also introduced his own bill that would restore net neutrality principles, such as banning internet service providers from blocking or slowing data traffic on their networks.
