Match Group Inc., one of the app developers embroiled in antitrust litigation over Alphabet Inc.'s payment policies, must face counterclaims for breach of contract, a federal judge in San Francisco ruled.

Judge James Donato let the tech giant move forward with claims that the dating company is using antitrust claims as a pretext for reneging on the “developer distribution agreement” signed by app makers using the Google Play store for Android phones, which takes a roughly 15% cut on most sales.
