Google, YouTube Win Dismissal of LGBTQ Creators Bias Suit

Google LLC has succeeded in dismissing with prejudice the last remaining claim of a LGBTQ+ YouTube creators’ proposed class action, after a federal magistrate judge ruled the creators failed to state a claim.

The group of creators argued that YouTube LLC discriminated against their videos based on their sexual orientation or gender identity by removing and restricting the visibility of their content on the platform despite YouTube’s public expressions of viewpoint neutrality.
