Google is offering 1 Gbps symmetrical Internet service and advanced multichannel video over a fiber-to-the-home network in parts of Kansas City, Mo., and Kansas City, Kan. The Google Fiber Internet service costs $70 per month with a one-year contract, and an Internet/TV bundle will run $120/mo. with a two-year contract.
