GoDaddy’s $35 Million Class Settlement Up for Final Approval

Plaintiffs have moved for final approval of GoDaddy’s $35 million Telephone Consumer Protection Act settlement to resolve allegations that it used automated dialing systems to send unsolicited telemarketing text messages, according to a filing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.

Of the 1.46 million notices sent to class members, more than 24,000 claims were filed, and only 11 class members opted out, according to the motion filed Tuesday.
