FCC Seeks Input on $3.2 Billion Broadband Discount Program

The Federal Communications Commission is moving to implement a $3.2 billion program that will provide discounted broadband service to millions of low-income households during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The agency Monday asked for public input on how it should administer the program, which Congress created in the economic stimulus package. The legislation requires the FCC to seek comment before implementing the program.
