The Federal Communications Commission is defending itself against accusations of trying to manipulate the judicial system by pressuring wireless carriers to challenge a small cell equipment order in different courts.
“Chairman Pai has informed me that neither he nor his staff urged any FCC licensee to challenge the Wireless Infrastructure Order, nor did they make any threats, implied or otherwise, against any licensee regarding such challenges,” Timothy B. Strachan, director of the FCC’s Office of Legislative Affairs, said in a letter obtained by Bloomberg Law that was sent to top House Democrats.
