The Federal Communications Commission on Friday released an updated map detailing the availability of phone broadband in the U.S. as of May 15.
The 2020 Broadband Deployment Accuracy and Technological Availability Act, or DATA Act, set standards for the FCC to adhere to when collecting mobile data and creating maps.
The map, released Friday, previews how the data the FCC is tasked with collecting will look, the agency said.
