FCC Moves to Expel Hong Kong Telecom From US Telecom Networks

The Federal Communications Commission takes a step to expel HKT (International) Limited from US telecommunications networks, posting an order directing the company “to show cause why the Commission should not initiate a proceeding to revoke HKT’s domestic authority and revoke and terminate its international authority.”

  • The order directs HKT’s wholly-owned subsidiaries to do the same, asks both the parent company and its subsidiaries to respond within 30 days
