The Oculus Quest, Rift, and Go headsets infringe three patents that describe a method for storing and displaying sequences of image frames, plaintiff VDPP LLC alleged in a complaint filed Aug. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
The headsets infringe claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 9,699,444, 9,948,922, and 9,426,452 by displaying video as a series of still images, VDPP said in the complaint.
