EU Commission Could Address AI Act Concerns in Nov. 19 Package

The European Commission could “address concerns” over its AI Act in its planned ‘Digital Omnibus’ simplification package due November 19, says commission spokesperson Thomas Regnier at a daily press briefing in Brussels.

  • Says no decision taken at this stage but a “reflection” is ongoing
  • “We are hearing concerns from the industry and from our member states,” Regnier says
