Musk’s X Corp. Sees Suit Over Hate Speech Reports Dismissed (1)

Social media platform X Corp.'s lawsuit against the Center for Countering Digital Hate Inc. over reports highlighting an alleged increase in hate speech on the platform was dismissed by a federal judge on Monday.

The lawsuit, initiated the year following billionaire Elon Musk’s 2022 purchase of the platform formerly known as Twitter, “is about punishing the Defendants for their speech,” wrote Judge Charles Breyer of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
