eBay Vehicle Seller Did Not Purposefully Avail Himself of Privileges in Buyer’s State

An individual who offered a vehicle for sale on eBay, and was later sued for breach of contract, did not purposefully avail himself of the benefits and protections of the laws of the buyer’s state, the Illinois Court of Appeals, Second District, ruled June 3 (MacNeil v. Trambert).
