EarthLink has signed an agreement to buy the IT Solution Center and hosted application business from Synergy Global Solutions.
The Atlanta-based Internet service provider did not report a purchase price, but said the acquisition gives it scalable round-the-clock IT service support capabilities that will enable customers to outsource critical IT services.
The purchase is the latest step in the Atlanta-based company’s shift from a once-thriving residential Internet service provider to a business-solutions company.
