Walt Disney Co. has announced the launch of Disney Movies Anywhere. The online movie service is available exclusively through Apple Inc.’s iTunes online store. Users must sign up for an account via iTunes and can buy digital copies of Disney, Marvel and Pixar films, which are stored in a Web-based account for anytime, anywhere access.
Movies can be played on Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, as well as through the Internet, Disney said in a statement. Users will be able to link to existing iTunes accounts to import Disney films they’ve purchased since 2008 to their new Disney Movies ...
