DirecTV Robocall Class Action Gets Voluntarily Dismissed (1)

A California man whose proposed robocall class action against DirecTV LLC went to the Ninth Circuit has dropped his lawsuit against the satellite television company, according to a recent court order.

Judge Joseph C. Spero signed off on Jeremy Revitch and DirecTV’s agreement to voluntarily dismiss the Telephone Consumer Protection Act lawsuit on Wednesday for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The dismissal is without prejudice.

Revitch sued in 2018, alleging that he received a number of prerecorded marketing calls from DirecTV on his cell phone despite never having contacted the company.
