Dietary Supplement Marketer Faces FTC Charges of Deceptive Advertising

After receiving a warning letter in November 2011 from the Federal Trade Commission challenging mislabeled drugs and unsubstantiated weight-loss claims, the marketer of dietary supplements must respond to a complaint, filed on Oct. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, alleging that the challenged conduct had continued (FTC v. Wright, D. Ariz.).
