Denmark’s data regulator has updated its advice for companies about complying with user consent requirements for data use under European Union privacy law.
The new advice is based on the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, which took effect May 25, 2018.
GDPR awareness is increasing but “quite a number” of businesses still are not fully compliant, Michael Gorm Madsen, a Bird & Bird partner and head of the firm’s privacy and data protection group in Denmark, said.
