In an announcement that effectively launches Comcast’s active pursuit of mid-sized enterprises, Comcast Business Class has introduced Metro Ethernet service across 25 markets. Until now, the company has focused primarily on the small-business market of companies with 20 or fewer employees, with a growing carrier business providing wholesale fiber and cell tower services.
Comcast now offers four Metro Ethernet Services, all operating at from 1 Mbps up to 10 Gbps in scalable increments of 1 Mbps, 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps and offered with three different classes of service.
