Clubhouse CEO Says Could Let Under-18s Use Its App: Information

Clubhouse could ease its requirement that its users be at least 18 years old to use the social audio app, the Information reports, citing company’s co-founder and CEO Paul Davison.

  • Davison says company would like to open the social audio app to people who are younger “down the line” though it wants to be ready when it does and “have all the right protections in place” and be “adequately staffed”
  • Clubhouse has more than 80 employees now and Davison expects staffing to grow to more than 100 in six months
