Bright House Buys Hosted Solutions Provider

Bright House Networks has signed an agreement to acquire Tampa-based cloud communications provider Telovation for an undisclosed sum.

The nation’s sixth largest cable operator says the purchase will help it deliver hosted voice and unified communications services to small and medium-sized businesses.

The purchase is expected to close within 60 days, pending regulatory approvals. Q Advisors, an investment banking firm, acted as exclusive financial advisor to Telovations.

Telovations provides businesses with hosted voice solutions, including PBX and managed SIP trunking.
