Blockchain Guide Issued for Federal Government, Contractors

A coalition of federal agencies and private sector officials has issued a playbook on how the government can use blockchain technologies to improve operations.

The Blockchain Playbook for the U.S. Federal Government lays out how federal agencies can identify viable uses for the technology, prepare staff, create budgets, and select vendors to implement it. Blockchain companies can also use it as a guide to doing business with agencies, Andrew Vanjani, a project leader and acting information technology director at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), told Bloomberg Law.
