AT&T, Inc. has added 7 cities to its list of 75 Mbps (megabits per second) U-verse markets. With the addition of Augusta, Ga.; Charleston, S.C.; Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Fla. and St. Louis, Mo., AT&T’s highest standard DSL (digital subscriber line) speeds are available in parts of 11 cities in seven states. AT&T offers U-verse service across parts of 21 states.
The company in December introduced speeds up to 75 Mbps in parts of El Paso, Texas; Monterey and Sacramento, Calif.; and Toledo, Ohio. Uploads top out at 8 Mbps in the upgraded markets.
