AT&T is boosting its U-verse data speeds to 45 Mbps for eligible subscribers in markets across five states, a deployment that will mark the end of new markets seeing wireline speed upgrades under its Project Velocity IP (VIP) investment plan. AT&T has already introduced the higher-speed U-verse Power tier in U-verse markets across 17 states.
The carrier will continue spending to upgrade and expand its wireless broadband infrastructure over the next two years.
