Apple Watch may get to evade the U.S.-China trade war.
Some of Apple’s popular devices, including the Watch and AirPods, won’t be on the list of import categories subject to the next round of U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods, Jenny Leonard and Saleha Mohsin report. As much as $200 billion of products made in China could be hit with a new 10 percent tariff.
Apple has been concerned about the tariff’s impact on its products, saying this month that a “wide range” of its products would face the proposed tariffs.
